On Monday, December 9, Edward Melki, Senior Investment Manager at IM Ventures, participated as a jury member for the Talal and Madiha Zein AUB Innovation Park’s Build & Accelerate 2024 Pitch Day. Hosted virtually via Zoom, the event marked the conclusion of a three-month program designed to elevate the skills of 13 startups.

Throughout the program, the startups improved essential skills in pitching, storytelling, financial modeling, and investment readiness. During the Pitch Day, each founder had the opportunity to present their innovative startups, while the jury evaluated them on key criteria such as value proposition, innovation, team dynamics, growth potential, and business model.

The event featured startups from various sectors, including fintech, edtech, agri-food, telehealth, travel & tourism, and renewable energy. After thorough evaluation, the top 9 highest-scoring startups were selected to join AUB iPark’s Go-to-Market program.
