IM Fndng was invited by the Secretariat of the Lebanon Committee of the World Energy Council (WEC) to participate as a member in the WEC family gathering of 2024, held on Thursday, December 19. The event served as an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of 2024 and explore potential opportunities for 2025 in the field of sustainable energy.

The gathering, followed by a networking lunch, brought together key players in Lebanon's renewable energy sector, such as the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC), contractors, suppliers, and financiers, including IM Ventures, which was represented by IM's Senior Investment Manager, Edward Melki.

Mr. Pierre Khoury, Former President of LCEC Board, started the event by delivering opening remarks and introduced the attending WEC representative who provided an overview of the group's activities and future initiatives.

Edward Melki actively engaged with the attendees, highlighting IM Ventures' impactful work through the SoLR& Renewable Energy Fund, and reflecting its commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions in Lebanon.

This collaborative event showcased the strength and innovation of Lebanon’s renewable energy sector, setting the stage for a promising 2025.
